The Algonquin Park area is famous for the rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield bedrock topped with magnificent forests, stunning panoramas, and numerous sparkling waterways - though in this case they’ll be covered with ice and snow. Imagine yourself in the midst of the forest, everything covered in snow, swiftly passing under branches, enjoying "the silence of the trail" - nothing but the sounds of your dog team carrying you down the trail ahead. 
    Our expeditions take the Algonquin experience to new heights: you’ll find yourself mushing along the traditional nastawgan (ways or routes of travel) in Temagami, Ontario or maybe following trails used for centuries in the lands of the Eastern Cree in Northern Québec. While we’ll be using modern improvements, it will be easy to imagine what it was like for the natives, voyageurs, and explorers of history.
